Nose dilators

Nasal dilators can help you clear your nose for easier breathing. This can reduce complaints such as snoring (through the nose).

What are nasal dilators?

You place a nasal dilator in or on your nose. This makes the nasal entrance wider. This way you get better and more air through your nose. This also reduces the chance that you will breathe through your mouth, for example if you do not get enough air through your nose.

When do you use nasal dilators?

You can use nasal dilators for different reasons. For example, you can use a nasal dilator if you snore through the nose. Or to take in more air more easily during exercise and have to breathe less through your mouth.

Nasal dilators for snoring

Many people use a nasal dilator against snoring. Snoring can occur not only in the throat, but also in the nose. By using a nasal dilator you can prevent a large part of the narrowing. In addition, you take in more air through your nose, which means you are less likely to breathe through your mouth while you sleep.

Nose dilators for sports or yoga

When you exercise, walk or do yoga, it can be unpleasant if you do not take in enough air through your nose. You get out of breath more quickly and are more likely to breathe through your mouth.

What nasal dilators are there?

There are different types of nasal dilators. Some you apply to your nose, others you apply in your nose.

NoseWings have been developed to improve nasal breathing, especially during sleep (against snoring), but also during sports and yoga. You apply the NoseWings to your nostrils. The repellent magnets gently push your nostrils outward. This makes the nasal entrance wider.

You can also apply the Arimax nasal dilator in the nose. These work with pushing force. The nasal dilator widens the narrowest part of the nasal entrance. Or check out the Airmax Sport for free breathing during exercise.

Nasal strips, such as the Breathe Right Clear , are easy to apply. They can provide relief from a blocked nose due to, for example, a cold or allergies.

The benefits of nasal breathing

Breathing through your nose is healthier than breathing through your mouth. But why?

By breathing air through your nose you ensure that the air is filtered, which means you inhale less dust and viruses. The air also becomes moister and warmer before it reaches your lungs. In addition, the mucous membranes in your mouth do not dry out and the posture of people who breathe through their nose is often better.
