COMBI Dos Medical Smell Training Set 1 & 2
If an olfactory disorder is diagnosed, recent studies have shown that training the sense of smell can be a supportive measure in the process of recovery. People who are going to use the Dos Medical Odor Training Set, usually do so on the advice of an ENT doctor. Smell training may be recommended as part of the treatment plan for disturbed odor. The daily smell training aims to restore the disturbed smell as well as possible.
The eight internationally recognized standard fragrances are used in the combi set:
Set 1: Rose, Lime, Eucalyptus and Cloves
Set 2: Mint, Jasmine, Thyme and Mandarin
After opening, the set has a shelf life of three months.
PAY ATTENTION! An (odorless) diluent, isopropyl palmitate, has been added to the oil in the Rose and Jasmine vial. This, because Roos and Jasmijn in undiluted condition would make the odor training sets unnecessarily expensive. However, this diluent solidifies / crystallizes when it gets too cold (eg if you store the vial in the fridge or if the zip code delivers the odor training set during cold weather). As soon as the oil returns to room temperature, it becomes liquid again. All this has no further effect on the fragrance quality.
