NasoFree nasal rinse salt is used for nasal rinsing with a nasal douche to cleanse the nose and sinuses.
Nasal rinsing is often used when there is mucus buildup, irritation, or inflammation of the nasal mucosa, for example during a cold, allergy, or sinus problems. Rinsing helps to remove mucus, crusts, and inhaled irritants such as dust or pollen from the nose.

Nasal rinse saline consists of a combination of sodium chloride (NaCl) and sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO₃) . This combination creates a saline solution with a composition that better matches the natural environment of the nasal mucosa.
When you dissolve the saline solution in lukewarm water, you create a solution suitable for rinsing the nose and sinuses.
The use of a specially formulated rinse salt is important. Rinsing with only water or ordinary table salt can cause a burning or pulling sensation and irritate the mucous membrane.
Due to the right composition, nasal rinse salt generally feels milder and more comfortable during rinsing.
